I am A Liscensed Esthetician. I am soon to be working with a Dermatologist.. The best thing for you since you have oily skin would be any product that has ';astringent'; on it. For example clean and clear astringent. Found in any store. It has properties to cleanse and take care of your oiliness. Also, Any product Like Biore Shine Control Cleanser, Also In any store, walmart, walgreens, target. etc. Or Oil Free Cleansers. I Promise, It will help wonders. Any other questions. Let me know! good luckWhat is a really good facial cleanser?
I LOVE using Sea Breeze Astringent. I use it whenever my face feels really oily. I also use it just to clean up my face b/c it gets rid of ALOT of dirt. I also use Clinique. It depends on what kind of skin you have, if you also have sensitive skin, then you may want to go with Clinique as they are aimed towards that sort of thing. The products they sell aren't harsh on the face at all and really do the trick.
Neutrogena also works well , but i would try the Sea Breeze, i get mine at either Wal-Mart or CVS and it's pretty cheap and you get a big bottle. Also, the water looks blue lol don't worry i really works !
Cetaphil! Try their regular Normal to Oily skin facial cleanser. I've been battling an oily T zone for as long as I can remember, but with Cetaphil, I can keep it in check.
Try a daily routine of plain Ivory bar soap and Cetaphil. Ivory tends to over-dry your skin if used without moisturizer, but the Cetaphil provides just enough umph! to not overwhelm your pores.
i like proactive and clean%26amp;clear cuz they make ur face all fresh and no zit (ZITS BE GONE!!) well when i was a pre teen i used milled soap (sometimes still do if i run out of my cleanser) just ask ur farmest if u have any qestion ;) good luck!
ST IVES APRICOT SCRUB I love it i have oily acne prone skin and this stuff works great my face always feels super clean and soft when im done washing $2 at big lots
Proactive! But don't use it if your skin is really sensitive or you're allergic to benzoyl peroxide! It works really well for me.
eeek!
All these posts i am reading about harsh chemicals on the skin!
To strip the skin only makes it work harder to produce more oil. We need to baby it, other wise we get scarring.
I guaruntee(SP) if you google OCM or oil cleansing method, you are hit with hundreds of posts about cleaning your face with OIL. Thats right..oil. It takes oil to get rid of oil. Ever notice when the mechanics get the grease on their hands they use that greasy orange stuff to get rid of the grime? The women in Europe and Asia have used it for decades(Look at their gorgeous skin) and it is just now starting to take off in the USA with cosmetic companys like MAC making a cleansing oil to bring it into the mainstream. Simple to do..Use a blend of 25-50% cold pressed castor oil,(read about the benefits of this wonderful oil) and mix it with either jojoba or ev olive oil. Read the benefits of these and it will open your eyes! Jojoba is the closest to your skins natural oil! And it isnt greasy!!!
Anyway...massage in your face for at least 5 min, steam with a washcloth, then rinse off..you are left with baby soft non greasy skin. If there are plugs in your skin the gentle massage will dislodge them in a day or two.
You can moisturize with a drop or two of jojoba if you need to afterwards. This is an inexpensive and all natural way to get results..And it has been done for years.
