Why do runway models have unusual facial features?

I was watching a runway show a few weeks ago and ALL of the models have strange faces; very unusual and unique.





Why don't the agencies just get women with plain faces? I couldn't even focus on the clothing; only on the faces.


If they had plain, everyday faces wouldn't we be able to focus on what matters which is the clothing?Why do runway models have unusual facial features?
there's lots of ordinary looking women out there, it makes it not only so that they have interesting looking models, but they also have less models to choose from, meaning that many women will not attempt modelling, meaning that there will not be as many people all going for the same jobs, which is good, because there's enough potential, aspiring models out there as it is.Why do runway models have unusual facial features?
