Is it true that facial hair grows faster and thicker the more you cut it?

I used to think that it was just a myth. But after I had tried it my self, and seen other youngsters shave for the very first time, I did notice that hair became thicker after the first shave! However, I did not notice that it grew faster, I assume that the thickness of the hair, compared to how thin and soft it was before the first shave, gives the impression that it is growing faster cause you can feel the hair is stiffer than before. Is it true that facial hair grows faster and thicker the more you cut it?
yesIs it true that facial hair grows faster and thicker the more you cut it?
pretty sure its when you SHAVE it
yeh i think thats true, but dont cut it because you have to keep doing it and it is sooo annoying after a while
fiction.

sorry buddy
yep, mine grows back really fast wen i cut it :l
Yes its true.
YES 100%

facial hair is the fastest growing hair on the body.

the more you shave the more youll need to shave
That's a myth. The only thing that causes people to think that is, when the hair is cut the TIP is no longer pointed. It grows with more of a blunt end. That only gives the appearance of thickness.
It LOOKS thicker, it isn't actually thicker.
yes that is true. up to a certain point.
if u cut in and shave it then yes, if you wax it no.
Chyeah
nah... i know this guy that never shaved as a kid and his hair grows by the second... visually
it is true, when u cut it, it stimulates the cells which then start the growing process again, same with all hair, and all plants (but for a different reason!)
