How long does facial schleroderma usually take to clear up? Other organs are not involved.?

i also have sclederma. it's on my left arm and i went to go see a dermatologist. they gave me the precription of Vanos and Dovenex (not sure that's how u spell it) if you have sclerderma morphe linear (which is wut i have) it will not go into the organs. i don't know about facail sleroderma, but right know mine is decreasing. do not be embarassed. i'm still in school, people ask me wut it is, i tell them. it also hurts too. do not take tylenol, take advill, advill helps with inflamation. u will either have a sharp tingaly pain or a like a muscal pain. if it's the muscal pain don't get scared all it means is that the sclerderma is just affecting that area and you're skin is stretching... it's kind of confusing. if u have a tingaly pain tell ur doc.now (if insurance says ok) i'm going to be tooken in and have about 4 shots of cortazone in my worst areas. also if you have any other pain still take ibprophen or advill. it will help. in years w/ meds and tretments it will go away, but will you will always have a dark patch were it was. if u need anymore info email me @ iluvthepcds101@yahoo.com good luck and god bless uHow long does facial schleroderma usually take to clear up? scleroderma is a progressive connective tissue disease. It doesnt tend to clear up but its progress can be slowed/halted by certain drugs.

There is a form of scleroderma that is completely limited to the skin and it is often called morphoea.

Scleroderma can affect many other organs around the body most notably the blood vessels ( especially in the fingers and toes where it can cause them to feel very cold and go white), the lungs and the gut where it can cause problems swallowing and a special form of diarrhoea due to bugs living in little pouches in the wall of the small bowelHow long does facial schleroderma usually take to clear up? I've always heard that scleroderma is a progressive disease meaning it gets progressively worse and does not clear up. But I'm not a doctor - so I could be wrong.
