I had my wisdom teeth taken out and now one side of my mouth is badly swollen; I must remedy this!Best way to reduce facial swelling?

I used to think that it was just a myth. But after I had tried it my self, and seen other youngsters shave for the very first time, I did notice that hair became thicker after the first shave! Instead of having to fork out on a facial steamer which could possibly dry out your skin if used too often; get enough sleep, drink plenty of water, and i use a sunscreen moisturiser (i use Olay Total Effects) mixed with a little bit of bronzer or illuminating foundation for an all year round glow.

Never use soap within a couple hours before or after using the cream and to see if the cream is ready to come off (normally just a couple minutes), take a pair of tweezers and pinch one of the hairs;if it turns to mush, take it off, if it still has some resistance, let it on a little longer. Waxing and shaving supposedly don't change the hairs, but they will feel different to you(stubbly) and you can actually eventually damage the follicle over a period of time by waxing.

It depends on your skin type. I have very sensative skin so i am limited to the items i can use. However, i love Clinique. I have yet to find a moisturizer that works all day long at keeping my skin from drying out. Its called ';dramatically different moisturizing lotion'; or something to that effect. I personally dont like Aveeno , i have only used the foaming facial cleaner and i dont really notice any difference in my complextion after using it.
Like i said, it depends on your skin type. Even if yuo dont have sensative skin like i do, i would say Clinique. Only b/c i know they sell good products and are reasonably priced, i think.
Also i just reread your question and realized you were a guy, i honestly dont know what places are good but maybe you can see if bath and body works has anything. My mother buys all the men in the family , every christmas, bath and face stuff from there and they love it. Perhaps that helps?

It depends on your skin type. I have very sensative skin so i am limited to the items i can use. However, i love Clinique. I have yet to find a moisturizer that works all day long at keeping my skin from drying out. Its called ';dramatically different moisturizing lotion'; or something to that effect. I personally dont like Aveeno , i have only used the foaming facial cleaner and i dont really notice any difference in my complextion after using it.
Like i said, it depends on your skin type. Even if yuo dont have sensative skin like i do, i would say Clinique. Only b/c i know they sell good products and are reasonably priced, i think.
Also i just reread your question and realized you were a guy, i honestly dont know what places are good but maybe you can see if bath and body works has anything. My mother buys all the men in the family , every christmas, bath and face stuff from there and they love it. Perhaps that helps?

If i was you id start by changing your diet, eating less fatty foods and take way's and of course food cooked high levels of oil, e.g chips and eat alot of fish because fish has the oils which keep your hair and skin in good condition so cod, place, trout, make sure its fresh or a decent frozen brand and not take way- and of course oven cook it.
Secondly have you been stressed lately because sudden anxiety can cause a variety of problems, If you have been under stress lately i would advise you to have a break for a few days and see if the problem gets better.I am 33 and have suddenly started getting really bad facial hair and my skin is really oily.?

Why is a facial wash making my skin rough?
I started breaking out in some huge pimples so i bought an achne face wash by ';Clean %26amp; Clear'; in a pump bottle which turns into a foam lather. I use a moisturiser streight after, and iv'e notice the skin on my nose feels rough like when you have a gold and have to blow your nose constantly and it gets sore and rough. Also my forehead is kind of rough/scaley...is this drying my skin out??Why is a facial wash making my skin rough?
yes its drying your skin out. i used that once and didn't buy it again so it must have been crap. try cleaning your skin once a day in the shower and use a flannel that you change regulary with warm water and gently rub. use a gentle facial cleanser. I quite like St Ives stuff. Creamy cleansers are more gentle. You will have to experiment. i would lean away from those acne clearing type cleansers as they are quite harsh and drying. try one for sensitive skin. Also i find that clearasil extra strength acne cream in the small blue and white tube works well. That way you can treat the individual spots not your whole face. Yes... don't use it anymore- it's too harsh for your skin.
Don't use anything on your skin- wash your face with sulphur soap (for eczema) and take vitamin B supplements- you should get better. When you rinse your face, pat dry--- try to rinse with water in the morning and with that soap at night!
I have used 'Clean %26amp; Clear' for years w/success. I use the antibacterial face wash.
However everyone is different, Use a facial scrub to remove dead skin cells first. Then moisturize w/an oil-free moisturizer. Bonne Bell has some good ones.
Start using a cleanser for sensitive skin, it may help.
Depending on where you live, the weather is changing. This also effects your skin.

Don't use anything on your skin- wash your face with sulphur soap (for eczema) and take vitamin B supplements- you should get better. When you rinse your face, pat dry--- try to rinse with water in the morning and with that soap at night!
I have used 'Clean %26amp; Clear' for years w/success. I use the antibacterial face wash.
However everyone is different, Use a facial scrub to remove dead skin cells first. Then moisturize w/an oil-free moisturizer. Bonne Bell has some good ones.
Start using a cleanser for sensitive skin, it may help.

If it's severe acne I would avoid it. Some places have facials designed for acne... This is a possibility. I would avoid any sort of facial massages, or oily creams as well. Personally back when I had really bad acne, anything I did to my face made it worse... washes...acne meds...anything.
I ended up finding the best thing I could do is to rinse it with mildly warm (but not hot) water and nothing else....
Although it may be different for you..some people need to unblock the pores and use strong stuff...

Try ringing the beauty clinic where you are due to have your facial, and just have a chat to them about how it will help your face etc. One thing i will add is that i have just bought a product called 'Quinaderm' from the chemists, it is really good and has brought down my spots overnight by half the size they were. Also, have you tried going to the doctors as they can prescribe tablets which will tell your brain to stop producing oil but these are said to make your face rather dry. Hope this helps :) x

Cleanse the skin
You鈥檒l want to wash the face to remove any grime or dirt. If you have oily or combination skin, try a cleanser like Clinique Wash Away Gel Cleanser or Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash . For dry skin, your best bet is a cream or milky cleanser such as Cetaphil .
Exfoliate
Using your fingers, rub a gentle exfoliating scrub in a circular motion on your face. Concentrate on the areas around your nose and forehead or if you have combo skin, work harder on the areas that tend to be 鈥榞reasy.鈥?Rinse your face well since exfoliating scrubs tend to be drying. L'Oreal makes a simple, but excellent face scrub .
Steam[/br] Fill your sink with warm water, dip a washcloth in and press to your face. Repeat 2-3 times.
The mask
For oily skin, use a clay-based face mask. For dry skin, go for a hydrating gel or cream mask.

What's a GREAT Electric Shaver (for men's facial hair)????
I had one before but it had really complicated cleaning instructions and complicated insturctions for replacing dull blades.
So my IDEAL electric shaver would be an easy to clean, easy to replace worn our parts, and gives a good shave.
Any suggestions?

Braun is a good brand. To clean it, you just remove the screen by pushing the release button and run water over the cutting heads and the screen. To replace the screen just put the new one on after removing the old one. The cutting heads just pop off when gently pulled on and the new ones easily push on. I've had a Braun for years, replaced the screen and cutters a couple of times, and it's still running fine.

I know I have been grinding my teeth, and clenching my teeth together, as I have noticed myself doing it. Lately I have had spasms in my cheek on the side where my teeth just ache, and it feels like contractions during childbirth. It depends on the human. I know some who only have one, but most of us use dozens. There is a suitable (or unsuitable) expression for any occasion or circumstance. It is what we used before language was developed (see how expressive the great apes and monkeys are!

On the other hand, who is to say that each muscle can be just flexed or relaxed. Perhaps we can get more facial expressions by flexing them part way. If we can do this in a continuous manner, the number of facial expressions is infinite.

I love it..my skin glows and u can use it on ur chest...just the sugar(u miz the sugar with just enough water to make a paste) then rub it all over..or if u want soft skin allover u can us sugar and water as a body scrub!! i do that too!!!!

i still do recommend clinique lotion tho. it really really moisturizes your skin without making it oily. but give your face a break for a few days from soap....and i bet you'll see a difference!!

well, i have my nose pierced and have had it done for about 5 years now. it was my first one.
the second facial piercing i got was my lip.
now i have snakebites and my anti eyebrow done. i dont think it matters what facial piercing you get, all i think that matters is if you only want one more facial piercing, is to make sure that you put it on the opposite side of your face as the nose piercing, so that it doesnt look uneven.
so really, dont let someone else make the decision as to your next piercing because any of them would look fine. as long as its what you want.

well, i have my nose pierced and have had it done for about 5 years now. it was my first one.
the second facial piercing i got was my lip.
now i have snakebites and my anti eyebrow done. i dont think it matters what facial piercing you get, all i think that matters is if you only want one more facial piercing, is to make sure that you put it on the opposite side of your face as the nose piercing, so that it doesnt look uneven.
so really, dont let someone else make the decision as to your next piercing because any of them would look fine. as long as its what you want.

I have a prescription for Tazorac and Benzaclin, I have been putting it on once in the morning and once at the night, as the derm ordered. My face is drying out so bad, so my derm total me to use an oil free facial moisturizer. It burns so bad, but the one I got unknowingly had spf in it. Now my skin Is peeling really badly. Sure they pull everything out of your skin and all, but there is nothing left to protect your skin for hours!! (so that may be you answer - hours) this is because the harsh chemicals in facials can kill the enzymes in your skin but i'm not against them at all or anything but like anything else it's not as good as it seems. Just make sure they are using natural ingredients, oils and vitamins. If you have sensitive skin be prepared for a long day of red. If you can't cancel your plans tmrw you may want to reschedule your facial.

I believe dark skin is beautiful, but there are some cremes that can lighten your skin, just go to any drug store like walgreens or CVS and look in the isle with all the skin products in it. Ive tried a few to lighten up some bruises. Some work most dont but your just gonna have to experiment and see which one works best for you if any....Any facial cream or products to brighten up your dark complexion?

But if u were lighter and you gotten darker from sun damage or age of skin or tans and hyperpigmentation like my self then yes there is a way to get lighter! Its called a CHEMICAL PEEL! what this is is an acid that peels off all the dead and damaged/darken skin (in days) ...days later your skin will peel off all the old dark skin leaving you with a fresh new brighter tone.. now you may have to get a chemical peel more than once to get the results you want.. these peels are not cheap may cost about 150-200 or more depending on the type of peel!
