my mom had a pimple and she popped it. it began to bleed really bad, and it continued for about an hour. she also fainted during this time. is there any medical reasons for her not to be able to clot her blood? and/or could drugs be a factor in it? i just need some ideas while she is in the emergancy room and we wait on a reason it could be happeningReasons for excessive bleeding from a facial pimple?
If she takes Aspirin, large amounts of ibuprofen or is on Coumadin or Plavix for medications, each of these could cause this. Or, her blood counts could be low which might make it more difficult for her blood to clot.
