My daughter is 15 and wants a facial in a salon is she too young?

are there any beauticians out there that can help me? I said to her that she doesn't need to have a full facial at her age....If she is too young can you please let me know why so I can explain this to her? and what age should girls / teens start having facials? thanks! My daughter is 15 and wants a facial in a salon is she too young?
You are never too young to start looking after your skin, however, it is against the law for a salon to treat anyone under 16. It is classed as molestation. Start her with a home routine of cleanse, tone and moisterise and when she turns 16 a facial once a month would be great to keep her skin in top condition throughout her life.My daughter is 15 and wants a facial in a salon is she too young?
you are never to young for a facial, she will enjoy it, also you spend quality mum and daughter time, all the best
your daughter is not to young to have facial why dont you both go , she iz just growing up and it wont hurt or damage her skin , have a mum and daughter time at the salon enjoy
its a facial, not a nude photoshoot. just let her get on with it. its complelty harmless
well she's 15 and i say let her get it done facials and manicures is just a part of being a girl plus i think you should doit toghether.things like that are a way to bond with your daughter. have fun
I am taking my lil' sis (11 years old) to get a facial. She is way mature for her age and has every issue a teenager has, So to help her acne, we are going together for cleaning facials next month!
Absolutely have a facial done. You are never too young to start taking care of your skin. Make a day of it and schedule an appointment for both of you. It is good for your relationship as well as your skin.
yes she is old enough and proper skin care at her age is great they can teach her things and answer questions take her if you have the extra money she will love you and you will be teaching her about skincare.
No, it's not too young. The main benefit she will get from it is expert advice on the type of skin creams, make up etc that are best for her and, in this way, her skin will benefit from an early age. Most of us learn too late.
Good heavens no !!! You're never too young to look after your skin..You could save some money though and do it for her....
its not too young... but it depends on her skin condition... if she has breakouts, oily skin, dry skin or any of that sort then she could go for a facial...
Having a facial at a salon is not a big deal. They will just try to sell you products. Go to a dermatologist and have a professional put the right chemicals on her face. Not someone who just took a 6 month class after high school.
theres no set age.
I personally don't think that she is too young. It is a pleasant and relaxing thing to have, and you could take her to have one as a treat, say for doing well in exams. If, however, she has sensitive skin or is allergic to anything, I would recommend you talk to the salon staff first to make sure the facial won't aggravate her skin or bring her out in spots!
no WAY!

at 13 or whenever they start growing pimples
I dont think she is too young...just make sure whatever they use on her skin is not too harsh. They should know at the salon the best thing to use. Im 14, I dont get facials but I get my eyebrows waxed every 2 weeks and get my nails done. It's never too early to learn good beauty habits :)
No, definitely not. It's never too early to start taking care of your skin.
You can never be too young to have a facial!
haha, no i dont think that its too young. do whatever you decide best for your child. though i think it would be nice for you daughter, she would appreciate it
no not atall, facials are particually good for teenage skin, not too young atall
I'm an estetician and I can tell you that your daughter is a very good candidate for a facial. At the first visit they gonna analyze her skin and after that they apply a deep cleansing facial treatment with a focus on educating teens on proper skincare. An experienced esthetician can recommend a treatment that will meet her skin care needs. The sooner she starts ,the sooner she's gonna realize how important is to have a beautiful and clear face.
