The sugar works as an exfoliator. It just sloughs off dead skin cells, so it should make your skin brighter. It's good for any skin, just don't overdo it or it'll irritate your skin, which could cause you to break out.Does sugar really make a good facial scrub for skin?
You should not use anything that is abrasive or harsh on your skin. You should not use anything that will dry your skin.

Your skin naturally oils itself in order to keep it moist and soft. Tampering with that will result in dry, cracked, wrinkled skin.

Beauty of your skin comes from within. Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, inclusive of raw vegetables and drink 8 - 10 glasses of water every day and you'll have good looking skin.

And sleep approximately 8 hours per day. In my circle we refer to it as ';beauty sleep';.
i never tryed it but backing soda and and water makes a really good facial scrub

It does work because my mom does it all of the time and she has super clear skin.
