Is it okay to use old facial cleanser?

I bought this tube of Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil Control Foaming Cleanser about a year ago. I used it for a while, then stopped because I wasn't really a big fan of it and I decided to give other facial cleansers a shot


I used it occasionally when my face got especially oily, but other than that, it's just been sitting in my bathroom.


Right now, I'm looking to use a foaming cleanser instead of a scrub like I usually do (also, my face has been getting oily lately, due to the weather), so I'm thinking about picking up the foaming cleanser again. But is it okay to use year-old facial cleanser and will it still work?
